  I don't know where to begin because my whole experience with Thrifty appliance repair has been five stars ! Lets start with The person who handled my first call regarding... read more my washing machine(I didn't catch her name) but she was super nice, listened to me babble and set me up for repair...Next in line was the repair man Jeremy, he too was pretty amazing, couldn't diagnose the issue, but didn't try to sell me on anything either, which is rare these days ! I pondered buying a new washing machine for a while, so of course, I hopped in my car, drove to a couple appliance places to look at washing machines. My boyfriend suggested "Speed Queen" so on my journeys I looked for that brand, no one had it so I thought maybe Thrifty appliance would know of a place where I could buy one. Walked into Thrifty and there it was! A Speed Queen !! I saw the price, pondered it for a while as they are not cheap like Kenmore, and just a sturdy, old school washing machine that they made back in the day. In enters John, the salesman, so knowledgeable and couldn't have been nicer !
So I bought the machine:)
Delivery day arrives and machine installed by John, who stuck around to make sure everything worked 100% before walking out my door. Now that's customer service !!!!

  I can't say enough how impressed I am with the tech that came out to look at our dryer. We reported "no heat" and received a call back within a... read more few hours confirming an appointment. The tech "Aaron" came out and quickly identified the problem as a blown limit (fuse) in the dryer. He explained why this happened (we failed to maintain vent box) and while he had our machine opened he cleaned it out. Although covered, limits in the amount of space we have in the house forces us to keep our washer and dryer outside. He explained that it wasn't the ideal scenario and could have EASILY justified charging us more.

THESE GUYS ARE PRO'S! From the follow up calls, to the offer to come out a day earlier because they were running fast on service. It's so great to find a local business that I will not hesitate to recommend and use for all my appliance repairs goimg forward.

And did I mention their pricing was fair, honest, and a lot lower than we expected. I was already looking at replacing our dryer anticipating a "cheaper to buy another" decision.

  Very poor customer service. They will not make allowances for anyone who has to work and unable to take time off work to meet them for repairs. Their last service... read more appointment is at 2pm. Not to mention this is the second time we've had to call them for the same problem. Seriously Thrifty, you need to modify this as customer service is one of the most important things in business.

Too bad John is the owner and there's no one higher then him to complain further. I can't imagine how this guy is even in business! Too all who have used this company before, see how you feel about the owner of this company now. There are other companies out there with the basic understanding of what customer service is!

I very much appreciated the effort.
